I was extremely fortunate to have the opportunity to use Becky Evans lovely boy Best. He stayed with me for over three weeks and was an absolute dream to live with. He fit in seamlessly like he had been here his whole life....Quiet in the house, got along with all my dogs from the start, gentle with people, including small children but ready to go when asked. He had a calm intensity about him that transferred effortlessly when he was in drive.

"Best is social as in he wants to meet everyone but after the greet he would rather be alone or get the human to play fetch. He loves all creatures and has zero prey drive in that sense. He is very calm. LOVES toys though. Very much a thinker and wants to be right. He’s resilient but cautious. Consistently checks in. Way more people focused. He doesn’t like commotion but comes to me. If another dog gets in trouble he comes over and apologizes even though he has never been bad...ever. Never barks. Very respectful with other dogs, even intact males."
